The Students at Paso Fino Niagara are encouraged to find and enjoy their full potential under a careful and watchful eye. The joy of watching each student grow is a reward in itself! Won't you come and join us? WHY PASO FINOS ARE GREAT ! The Paso Fino is the original gaited horse, descended from the Spanish Barb and the Andalusion and has acquired it's lateral gait from the extinct breed of horse, the Jennet. Because there is no diagonal (no trot), the horse travels on a level plane and drives through the croup and stifles, remaining flat on the top line. This creates an incredible soft ride, with no up or down movement, making the comfort level superb for even the most novice rider. "Having spent many years riding different breeds, I finally settled on the Paso Fino breed because of the comfortable, smooth ride. I soon recognized that their incredible skill and gentle manner made them wonderful to train. I currently own two Paso Fino horses and am training others for clients." |
